Our broad and balanced curriculum is innovative and creative teaching the children knowledge, skills and vocabulary from Reception through to Year 2. It is taught through exciting learning journeys and we use our outdoor environment at every opportunity.

We are a therapeutic school and believe that a child's behaviour is communication.  We teach the children how to self regulate and understand their emotions in an environment which has high expectations with supportive, highly skilled adults. 

Play is a key part of school life at The Gattons in helping the children to socialise and communicate effectively.  We are a Platinum OPAL school (Outdoor Play and Learning) and are very fortunate to have a brilliant outdoor space with climbing equipment in all three playgrounds, a slack line gym, a hexgonal 6 swing set, a tunnel and slide, mud kitchen and a beautiful pond with a secret passage to play in.

We enjoy involving parents and carers and the wider community in the life of the school as much as we can and look forward to you joining our community.
