Throughout the year many special events are organised for parents and children. There are also occasions when parents are invited into school to see what the children have been learning.
Individual photographs of the children are taken in the Autumn Term. Parents may ask for brothers and sisters to be taken together and younger brothers and sisters may also be included. Class photos are taken in the Summer and these are available for sale to parents.
The school holds a harvest celebration in the Autumn. We often focus on a local charity such as AGE UK or the local food bank.
Our Christmas celebrations in school usually include a Carol Service at a local church for all children and their parents.
Each year group produce a performance to their parents in the Autumn, Spring or Summer Terms.
Sports Day is held during the Summer Term and the 'Friends of The Gattons' (FOGS) hold a sponsored Mini Marathon in May.
We are part of an exciting new programme called Recycle to Read Toys and are collecting Planet Care Points to win some fantastic new reading books for our school. Please see the flyer sent home via ParentMail for more information on how you can support The Gattons.

We are delighted to be able to offer four open morning dates on Tuesday 7th November at 9.30 & 10.45, Tuesday 14th November at 9.30 & 10.45, Monday 20th November at 9.30 & 10.45 and Wednesday 29th November at 9.30 & 10.45.
